February Roast Update
Our February batch has been roasted and delivered to Fiesta Farms, our next batch is loosely scheduled to be just before the equinox – maybe we hold off and make it our first roast of the spring?
Some sad news…
The founder of Fiesta Farms and much beloved community leader, Joseph Virgona, passed away February 5, 2023. Mr. Virgona’s presence had been a fixture in my life, he gave me my first real job over 25 years ago when he first opened the Fiesta Farms Garden Centre (well before Fiesta Gardens, and it was in the other parking lot). Mr. Virgona instilled in me the base of retail is hospitality, in fact, I believe hospitality came first for him and he found a way to create his own offerings through his time in grocery putting communities and people first.
